“Sustainable Development of Electric Power Systems:
Challenges and Opportunities”
We are pleased to announce the eighth International Power Engineering
Conference (IPEC2007) in Singapore, from 3rd – 6th December 2007, and we
would like to invite you to join us in the event.
The biennial event first started in 1993 and seven IPEC conferences have been
held to date. All the previous seven IPECs were very successful, with some 200
delegates from 23 to 25 countries participating on each occasion. The
forthcoming 8th IPEC is co-organized by Nanyang Technological University
(NTU), Singapore Power Ltd, Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), the IET
Singapore Branch and the IEEE Power Chapter Singapore.
Selected papers will be published in a special issue of the International Journal of
Emerging Electric Power Systems (IJEEPS). All accepted papers shall be
included in IEEE Xplore database and indexed by the Engineering Index (EI).
The identified theme of IPEC2007 is “Sustainable Development of Electric
Power Systems: Challenges and Opportunities”. IPEC2007 welcomes technical
contributions in all areas of power engineering and power electronics, with
special emphasis on the theme of the conference. The topics of interest are
