Plant Services Personnel Endowed Scholarship
Letter of Intent
In accordance with section 3 of the P.S.P Application process: This letter of intent can be
used for any applicant that is denied admittance to GVSU because of a lower GPA, or
simply chooses to attend a Community College such as Grand Rapids Community
College or Muskegon Community College (where most credits are transferable to
GVSU). A scholarship amount equal to that year’s award will be held in reserve and
awarded the year the student begins attending GVSU plus the award for the upcoming
year.
The student must meet all criteria for eligibility and MUST have submitted a scholarship
application with essay (as indicated on the application) and a letter (attached) explaining
why he/she is attending a Community College prior to attending GVSU. Scholarship
application must be submitted online before the scholarship application deadline of
March 1.
Students must be admitted to GVSU in order to access the scholarship application. Once
student is admitted, they must complete scholarship application located through the
myScholarships database.

This letter form to make aware to the Plant Services Personnel Endowed Scholarship
Committee that I may be attending a Community College prior to transferring to Grand
Valley State University.

P.S.P. Committee at the beginning of each school year that you will be attending a
