Parts Review
Remove the bracket parts from the shipping container. Using the Parts List shown below, verify that all mounting
and downtilt bracket pieces were received.
It is important to note that this kit includes options for both standard mounting of an antenna (Kit #26799997) and
downtilt mounting of an antenna (Kit #26799999). The pre-assembled pieces that you will find in the shipping container are prepared for downtilt mounting applications. A slight modification is required for standard mounting. Refer
to the Bracket Assembly and Installation Guide for Mounting Bracket Kit #26799997 for details on how to convert this
kit for standard mounting applications.
In this installation guide references will be made to the “upper downtilt bracket” assembly and the “lower downtilt
bracket” assembly. The upper downtilt bracket is shipped pre-assembled and can be identified by the tear-drop links
(3). The lower downtilt bracket is also shipped pre-assembled and can be identified by the long angle brackets (5).
Refer to Figures A and B for illustrations of both.

Attaching the Downtilt Brackets to the Antenna
Step 1 - Attaching the Upper Bracket Assembly
As mentioned previously, the upper downtilt bracket is shipped pre-assembled and can be identified by the tear-drop
links (3). Begin the assembly process by bolting the upper downtilt bracket assembly to the upper “T” bracket on the
antenna using one bolt (6); two stainless steel washers (12), one lock washer (10) and one nut (8). Refer to Figure
A for placement of each part. Finger tighten.

Step 2 - Attaching the Lower Bracket Assembly
Bolt the pre-assembled lower downtilt bracket to the lower “T” bracket on the antenna using one bolt (6); two stainless steel washers (12), one lock washer (10) and one nut (8). Refer to Figure B. Finger tighten.

Installing the Antenna with Downtilt Brackets on a Mounting Pipe
Step 1 - Positioning the Antenna
Position the antenna at the desired location with each pair of threaded rods (2) straddling the mounting pipe.
Step 2 - Bolting the Antenna to the Mounting Pipe
Install a pipe bracket (1) using one lock washer (10) and a nut (8) on each threaded rod (2), as shown in Figure C.
Tighten to secure.
Step 3 - Final Adjustment
Tilt the antenna to the desired degree of downtilt and tighten bolts at joints A, B, C, and D to secure.
