Relaxation any time you want it – that’s what your hot tub gives you. It’s like your own world class resort, right in
the comfort of your own back yard. Keeping your hot tub close to a patio or sundeck door will help you make the
most of your Beachcomber during cool or freezing weather.
If you are planning to have your deck surround your hot tub, always make sure to have the hot tub on site before
any cuts are made. Every hot tub is hand built and because of that the dimensions may vary slightly and it’s always
better to measure the actual hot tub you purchased to ensure that it will fit perfectly.
We purchased our Beachcomber 750 after some very extensive
research of all the makes and models available in the market. I’m
happy to say that we know we made the right choice after almost
a year of use. Our Alaskan winters are long and dark, but our
Beachcomber Hybrid3 made this winter a lot easier to endure!

LAYING YOUR FOUNDATION
It’s very important to have your hot tub placed on a flat, level spot using patio blocks that will support the weight
over the long term. They are easy to lay down with sand, a perimeter border, a long, straight board and a level.
Using a level between your blocks as you lay them down helps to ensure that your spot remains level and flat and
you should have the area prepared before your hot tub is delivered. Your store will call you to confirm where you
want your hot tub to go before the delivery date is arranged.
Please note: Beachcomber does not recommend placing a hot tub directly on unprepared ground.
There are different shapes and sizes of patio blocks
available at most building centers. Shown here are the
24”/61cm blocks. If your hot tub is a Hybrid3™ edition,
ensure that you leave enough room for the SafeAxiss™
Steps. Make you write down measurements to accommodate any other extras you may want.
Installing a hot tub on a deck is a popular location for
many home owners. Before placing your hot tub on or
in your deck, consult your local store for exact measurements and building code information for proper
weight support.
GROUND PREPARATION
FOR YOUR NEW BEACHCOMBER
A Beachcomber Hot Tub is fully portable. If you move, simply take it with you. It’s a fully integrated unit; all you
need is a flat, level location, an electrical line and water from your garden hose.
Even though it’s not required, we’ve had customer pour a cement pad for their hot tubs. This can be an attractive
foundation that will last indefinitely. Your Beachcomber store specialists can recommend one of these simple ways
to prepare the ground for your hot tub.

YOUR NEW HOT TUB
WATER ACCESS IS EASY - JUST USE YOUR OUTDOOR GARDEN HOSE
Filling your Beachcomber is easy. You don’t need any specially treated water
– simply place your garden hose in the hot tub and fill it up. Having easy
access to the garden hose from your house makes it convenient for you to
fill and drain your tub. The Beachcomber Owner’s Guide gives you all the
information you need to use and care for your hot tub.
Use the easy instructions included with your new hot tub for more
information. It’s very easy to care for and requires very little maintenance.
And with water care programs that are easy to use, you will get the most
from your hot tub without worrying about a lot of maintenance.
HOT TUB PLACEMENT
Your Beachcomber store has a Site Survey Template Kit that they can bring to your home to measure the space for
your new hot tub. Whether it’s on a deck or on a pad, this is a simple and effective way to plan the perfect location
for your hot tub. Ask your store for an in-home inspection. Your local building code will give you the requirements
for proper support of your hot tub on a wood deck as the average size filled hot tub can weigh more than the car in
your driveway. It must be supported properly to ensure a safe and reliable installation.
Our recommendation has always been to install your hot tub outside on a deck or on a pad. But if you do decide to
install it inside your home, ensure that your contractor provides proper ventilation according to your local building code.
