Alex McVeagh represents a wide variety of clients in the firm’s Litigation and
Risk Management Section. His current areas of representation include
business litigation matters, municipal and governmental affairs, financial
institution bankruptcy matters, foreclosures, product liability and personal injury
defense, and intellectual property issues.
Alex's client service to municipal and government entities includes revising city
ordinances and resolutions, working with codes officials on day-to-day legal
issues, answering legal questions concerning municipal issues, and litigation
matters. Alex has represented multiple city governments and currently assists
the City Attorney for East Ridge, Tennessee, Hal North.
In addition to helping clients with general/civil litigation matters, Alex
represents financial institutions and businesses in Chapter 7, 11, and 13
Bankruptcy cases. He also represents businesses in trademark disputes,
manufacturing product liability defense, and other intellectual property
matters.

degrees, Alex is an avid Commodore sports fan who enjoys fly fishing, hiking,
