Screen Printing Workshop
@ The Factory Kendal
During this intensive but friendly two-day
workshop you’ll learn how to produce a
professional-quality two-colour screen print
from your own design.
I will guide you through each process step by
step and you can expect to take home around
five two-colour prints. And because numbers
are limited to six students on each workshop, I’ll
be able to spend plenty of one-on-one time with
you, meaning you’ll quickly gain an in-depth
knowledge of the craft.
Directions
When you turn left into The Factory off Aynam
Road, turn left again and double back on yourself
within the grounds where you’ll see an enormous
old stone building on your right.
Park outside this building in the car park in front
of the archway. Walk under the archway and I’m
the first door on the right.
Weekend workshops cost £145 per person and run
on the last weekend of each month from 10am to
4pm on each day.

Screen Printing Workshop
Day One: Saturday
Day one is dedicated to artwork and screen
production. We’ll kick off with a brief intro to the
workshop and all the equipment, you’ll get kitted
out with an apron then we’ll have a brew and get
started.
Using examples, we’ll discuss artworking in detail
and the effect it will have on your own screen
print. We’ll then go through each student’s design
using Adobe Photoshop to make sure everything’s
technically correct.

expose it and wash it out ready for day two.
