• In this lab we found a direct
relationship between the position
and the time. This means that as
time increased, the position of the
car also increased.

• From the graph we got the mathematical
equation
Position = (0.37 m/s)(time) + 0.02 m

• The slope of 0.37 m/s means that for
every second the car was traveling, it
moved 0.37 m.

• The y-int. means that when time was zero
seconds the car was at the 0.02 m mark.
This means that we started the stopwatch
too late. The car was already past the
starting point.
