Dear Course Participant –
The NIWH curriculums are unlike traditional curriculums found in post-professional trainings. Being
integrative and whole person focused these curriculums looks at the course subject matter from a big
picture, multi-dimensional, five element perspectives which includes the physical, emotional,
nutritional, environmental and spiritual aspects of health and disease. This whole person, whole
health approach educates and equips the learner with a more comprehensive and integrative
understanding of how in the human body, “everything is connected to everything” else. This allows the
professional to inform and educate their patient/client with a scientific, evidence-based organic body
of knowledge, tools and skills to take control of their health and wellbeing.
The curriculum materials contain information from a variety of sources. Not all handouts are
necessarily discussed on the video, but are included as relevant to understanding a more
comprehensive and historical view of the subject matter and to allow the self-directed learner to “walk
around” the subject matter. The older, historic articles also assist in identifying the progress and
evolution of contemporary paradigms in health care.
The requirements for successful course completion and to earn approved professional continuing
education contact hours are as follows:
1. View the online video – we suggest multiple times.
2. Read the required course materials, handouts, and assigned book, if applicable.
3. Complete the Learning Objective Template, including the Application portion. You are
required to use the Learning Objective Template provided for each course. Click on the
Course Assignment Template & Evaluation Form link in the on-line classroom to access
the forms. The entire assignment should not exceed 2500 words for both the Learning
Objective and Application portions.
4. To complete the process, submit the essay and evaluation form by e-mail to your assigned
Academic Advisor, as well as to NIWH Student Services office at the following e-mail
address: registrar@wholepersonhealthcare.org .
Following review and determination of successful completion of your essay, your Academic Advisor
will send you a certificate for the continuing education contact hours earned for each course
submitted. Should you find that you have any questions please contact the NIWH office for
assistance at 888-354-HEAL (4325) or by e-mail to: wholehealtheducation@gmail.com.
