SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE CATEGORY
There will be male and female divisions with separate balloting for each performance category.
1. Must be at least 40 years of age as of Jan. 1 of the year of induction.
2. Must have participated in a USBC-approved” qualifying event in at least 20 different
years. (Participation as a “touring professional” for a full year is considered a qualifying
event).
3. Must have at least one of the following:
a. Professional (PBA, PWBA, LPBA) title
b. WTBA (World Tenpin Bowling Association) title
c. 200 average for 20 years in USBC-approved qualifying events (male candidates)
d. 190 average for 20 years in USBC-approved qualifying events (female
candidates)
e. Top-10 finish in a USBC-approved qualifying event.
Accomplishments in other national, international and other important bowling events will
also be considered; however, the Committee may waive those requirements. Example: A
waiver by the Committee could granted be for reasons of illness or injury that shortened a
player’s career.
Candidates must be on the Superior Performance ballot for a minimum of 3 years to be
considered in the Veterans and Outstanding USBC Performance Categories.
BOWLING PERFORMANCE
Please be as specific as possible in listing the name of event and/or category (i.e., singles,
doubles, etc.), year and finish position:
A.USBC/ABC/WIBC Championships, Top-10 Finishes: (Open & Womens Championships)
B. USBC/ABC Masters and/or Senior Masters, USBC/WIBC Queens and/or Senior Queens,
Top-10 Finishes:
C. List years of participation in the ABC/WIBC/USBC Open and Womens Championships,
Masters, Queens, Senior Master or Senior Queens, PBA/PWBA/LPBT tour. A minimum of 20
years of participation in at least one qualifying event in any given year is a prerequisite for
Hall of Fame consideration.
D. International Competition, Top-3 Finishes (WTBA/FIQ World and Zone, World Cup,
Tournament of the Americas, World Games, etc.
E. Team USA accomplishments (Years as Team USA Member, National Amateur Champion,
etc.)
