HU3 Focus Knob Tension Adjustment
To change the focus knob tension:
1. Use a .050 hex key to loosen the two set screws accessed through the holes in the
rubber grip:

2. Remove the 2x 2-56 flat head screws securing the focus knob cover disc.
a. The tension adjustment plate is adjusted through the pair of adjustment slots as
shown in the picture above. To loosen the tension, use a small screwdriver or hex
key to turn the adjustment plate counter clockwise while holding the knob by the
rubber grip. Turn the disc about a quarter turn at a time until the tension is as
desired.
b. Increase the knob tension by turning the adjustment plate clockwise.
When the tension is correct, re-tighten the pair of set screws and replace the focus
knob cover disc and the pair of flat head screws.
