External Data Logger
By collecting information from inverters including status and performance, SolarMAN external data loggers make the long-term
monitoring of PV systems feasible and efficient.
By connecting with single or multiple inverters through RS485/422/232 interface, the data logger can collect information of PV
systems from inverters. In addition, SolarMAN Portal can provide powerful data support for users. Data collected by the data
logger can be transmitted to the monitoring portal via Ethernet, WiFi, GPRS and Zigbee, etc. Both real-time and historical data can
be displayed with transparent graphs. Customized alerts can notify users of any malfunction or defect immediately via SMS and
emails.
SolarMAN WiFi Kit is suitable for homes and office buildings
where WiFi network is available. A WiFi module is integrated in
the data logger, enabling data transmission via WiFi network.
No additional wiring or software is required, far simplifying
installation and reducing costs for users.
Furthermore, an independent web server is integrated in the
data logger, which enables users to directly connect to the WiFi
Access Point of the data logger and to check the performance
and yield of the inverter even without any outer network.

SolarMAN GPRS Kit is suitable for standalone plants or buildings
where no network connection is available. A GPRS module is
integrated in the data logger, and with a valid SIM card, the data
logger can transmit data via mobile network.

roaming SIM cards which support GPRS data roaming in almost

SolarMAN embedded WiFi module is a monitoring module that can be easily embedded in inverters, without any additional
external hardware. Real-time data can be collected from inverters accurately.
The new generation of WiFi module enables operation under AP and STA mode simultaneously, which means that users can
directly get access to the internal Web Server via WiFi, and at the same time the module can connect to remote portal via WiFi,
enabling users to monitor PV systems anytime and anywhere via Internet.
SolarMAN embedded WiFi module can ensure the stable and efficient performance of PV systems, while minimizing the

Module-level Data Logger
SolarMAN module-level data logger is a smart monitoring device which is directly connected to the junction box on the back of a
module with “plug & play” function, collecting data, including voltage, current, power and temperature, etc., from each module.
Compatible with SolarMAN Portal, visualized module performance is realized. A scalable site layout is displayed with detailed
energy information, realizing identification of individual modules. Poor performing modules and module mismatching would be
identified immediately as well, thus far improving effective uptime and system efficiency.

SolarMAN Portal is a web-based platform for PV monitoring,
enabling analysis and presentation of PV systems. Data
collected from PV systems are transmitted to and analyzed by

The portal can deal with data collected from SolarMAN external data logger, embedded monitoring module, and weather station,
etc. In addition, data from other devices can be analyzed and recorded as well if required by customers.
All data collected from devices are saved in multiple servers located all over the world, ensuring high-quality and stable service for
our global users, and ensuring security of database as well to prevent loss of data. For users with specific requirement,
independent server can be set up as to provide better service.
The map clearly shows distribution of all plants under
user’s account
Status and fault codes of devices can be recorded on the
portal, and realtime alerts will be sent to users via email or
SMS in case of any malfunction.
All important information of power plant is displayed in the
overview interface.
Users can check the reports of historical data for various
periods on the portal.
