Installation Instructions for 920MO2RAEH Rae Head Two-Circuit Monorail 700MO2RAER_ 1.0 HEADS-LOW VOLTAGE GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION: This product is suitable for indoor dry locations only. This product should be used with Tech Lighting Two-Circuit MonoRail system only. 1B Install Fixture to Circuit 1 - Section 2 METAL MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP Install Fixture to Circuit 2 - Section 1 Install Fixture as an Uplight - Section 3 TWO-CIRCUIT MONORAIL CIRCUIT 2 TWO-CIRCUIT MONORAIL CIRCUIT 1 COM 3 NOTE: If space for the installation is limited, it may be easier to install the fixture by removing the second screw and completely removing the MonoRail connector cap. Install the Fixture to Circuit 2 1A MONORAIL CONNECTOR 1 Rotate and lift both MonoRail connector caps out of the way and install the fixture onto the MonoRail. 1B 1C METAL MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP 2 SCREW 4 4 ALLEN WRENCH ALLEN WRENCH NOTE: Circuit 2 installation requires one plastic and one metal MonoRail connector cap. 1 Remove one of the screws from both MonoRail connectors with the provided Allen wrench. 2 Loosen (do not remove) the other screw on both MonoRail connectors with the provided Allen Wrench. 4 1 Reinstall both MonoRail connector caps, reinstall the screws, and tighten them with the provided Allen wrench. 1D 1B METAL MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP CONNECTOR CAP SET SCREW 6 8 PLASTIC MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP UNUSED SET SCREW ALLEN WRENCH 8 UNUSED SET SCREW 8 ALLEN WRENCH 8 7 COM CIRCUIT 2 NOTE: The plastic MonoRail connector cap does not contain any set screws. 5 Ensure that the MonoRail is completely installed into both MonoRail connectors by pushing down the fixture until there is no space between the top of the rail and connector caps. 6 Tighten the top set screw from each side of the metal MonoRail connector cap using the provided Allen wrench to connect to circuit 2. 7 Tighten the bottom set screw from each side of the other MonoRail connector using the provided Allen wrench to connect to com. 8 Remove the unused set screws from each side of both MonoRail connectors. 9 Skip to section 4A. Install the Fixture to Circuit 1 2A PLASTIC MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP METAL MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP PLASTIC MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP 2 6 MONORAIL CONNECTOR 1 1 4 2 SCREW SCREW ALLEN WRENCH 3 SCREW ALLEN WRENCH ALLEN WRENCH NOTE: Circuit 1 installation requires two plastic MonoRail connector caps. 1 Completely remove both screws from the MonoRail connector with the metal connector cap using the provided Allen wrench and remove the metal connector cap. 2 Install the plastic MonoRail connector cap onto the same MonoRail connector, partially thread one of the screws into the cap, and move the cap out of the way. 3 Remove one of the screws from the MonoRail connector with the plastic connector cap using the provided Allen wrench. 4 Loosen (do not remove) the other screw on the same MonoRail connector with the provided Allen Wrench. 5 Rotate the plastic MonoRail connector cap out of the way. 6 Install the fixture onto the MonoRail, completely install both MonoRail connector caps onto the MonoRail connectors, reinstall the screws; and tighten them with the provided Allen wrench. 2 2B 1B CIRCUIT 1 PLASTIC MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP 8 PLASTIC MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP UNUSED SET SCREW ALLEN WRENCH 10 ALLEN WRENCH 10 9 COM NOTE: The plastic MonoRail connector cap does not contain any set screws. 7 Ensure that the MonoRail is completely installed into the MonoRail connector by pushing down the fixture until there is no space between the top of the rail and connector caps. 8 From the MonoRail connector that has one set screw, tighten the set screw from each side using the provided Allen wrench to connect to circuit 1. 9 From the other MonoRail connector, tighten the bottom set screw from each side using the provided Allen wrench to connect to com. 10 Remove the unused set screw from each side of the MonoRail connector. 11 Skip to section 4A. Install the Fixture as an Uplight 3A ALLEN WRENCH ALLEN WRENCH TWO-CIRCUIT MONORAIL SCREW 1 MONORAIL CONNECTOR 2 4 4 METAL MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP 3 3 METAL MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP NOTE: If space for the installation is limited, it may be easier to install the fixture by removing the second screw and completely removing the MonoRail connector cap. 1 Remove one of the screws from both MonoRail connectors with the provided Allen wrench. 2 Loosen (do not remove) the other screw on both MonoRail connectors with the provided Allen Wrench. 3 Rotate and move both MonoRail connector caps out of the way and install the fixture onto the MonoRail. 4 Reinstall both MonoRail connector caps, reinstall the screws, and tighten them with the provided Allen wrench. 3 3B 1B 7 7 UNUSED SET SCREW 6 COM CIRCUIT 2 SET SCREW 9 CIRCUIT 1 SET SCREW 8 CIRCUIT 2 INSULATED MONORAIL CONNECTOR CAP ALLEN WRENCH CONNECTOR CAP SET SCREW CIRCUIT 1 5 Ensure that the MonoRail is completely installed into the MonoRail connector by pushing up the fixture until there is no space between the bottom of the rail and connector caps. 6 Tighten the bottom set screw from each side of the metal MonoRail connector cap using the provided Allen wrench to connect to com. 7 Remove the unused set screw from each side of the MonoRail connector. 8 If connecting the fixture to circuit 1,tighten the bottom set screw from each side of the connector and remove the unused set screws from circuit 2. 9 If connecting the fixture to circuit 2,tighten the top set screw from each side of the connector and remove the unused set screws from circuit 1.
