About our management
Ram Naidoo, the Managing Director of RamAir Training Services,
started his aviation career as a UK BCAR Radio/Radar/X
Electrical/Multi X avionics licensed engineer in the early
seventies. He spent thirty years in maintenance engineering at
various levels before retiring in 2002 as an EASA Cat C certifying
engineer and as engineering manager for a large UK EASA Part
145 maintenance company. Ram’s qualifications also include a
BSc in Aircraft Engineering from Kingston University and an MSc
in Aviation Management from Southampton University. On his
retirement from engineering maintenance, Ram moved into
training and has since been very involved in EASA Part 66 and
EASA Part 147 training. For the last ten years he has been very
active in EASA Part 66 training. Some of his activities include:
 Acting as EASA Form 4 approved Part 147 Training
Manager/EASA Part 147 Form 4 approved Quality
Manager/EASA Part 147 Accountable Manager.
 Conduct EASA Part 147 Audit as an external auditor.
 Qualified as an instructor for EASA Basic Part 66 training
 Active member of the European Aviation Maintenance
Training Conference and sits on the Working Committee
for Basic and Type training. He is also a member of the UK
Royal Aeronautical Society.
 Regular delivery of training in EASA Part 145 Human
Factors, SFAR 88 ,EWIS, Maintenance Planning Support
and Maintenance Management
 Delivered training to EASA Foreign Part 147 and Part 145
organisations.
 Provision of consultancy to new and existing Part 147
training centres and EASA Part 145.
About us
We are a UK based aviation maintenance training organisation
specialising in all aspects of EASA Part 66 training. We also offer
consultancy work to organisations that are keen to develop their
own EASA Part 147 training centres.
All instructors of RamAir are very experienced trainers who have
progressed in the field of EASA Part 66 training after retiring as
active EASA Part 145 technicians. Examples of recent courses
delivered are:
 EASA Part 66 Basic Modular Short courses
 EASA Part 145 Human Factors/SFAR 88 Fuel Safety/EWIS.
 Train the Trainer training course
 On Job Training Assessment for EASA Basic training
 Short courses to industry in Aircraft Maintenance
Management.
 Support training to EASA Part 147 managers
 Consultancy in EASA Part 66/Part 147 and Part 145 training
requirements.
