Before Beginning Installation
•
Read through instructions completely prior to assembly.
•
A minimum of two people are required for this installation.
•
These instructions reflect typical configurations of multiple components; they may not match your
specific configuration. If your configuration does not include some of the listed components, please
ignore those particular instructions.
Tools Required For Assembly
•
Powered screwdriver
•
5/16” socket bit
•
Additional tools may be required depending on the construction of the structural wall to which the
Media Product will be attached.

Additional hardware is required to fix the Stanchion Support Bracket to the structural wall. This
hardware depends on the construction of the structural wall. It is up to the installer to
determine the appropriate hardware.
Note: Quantities of hardware will vary depending upon your particular configuration.

Installing Wall Stanchion
1. Stand the Wall Stanchion against the
structural wall where it will be installed. Note
that the angled top of the Wall Stanchion
must be tilted toward the structural wall, as
shown in Figure 1.
2. Place the Stanchion Support Brackets against
the stanchion cross bars as shown in Figure 2
and mark the location for the Support Brackets.

3. Fix the Stanchion Support Brackets to the
structural wall. The hardware used to fix the
Stanchion Support Bracket depends on the
construction of the structural wall. The
installer must determine the appropriate
hardware for this step.
4. Hang the Wall Stanchion on the Stanchion
Support Brackets as shown in Figure 2. Adjust
the glides such that the Stanchion Support
Brackets do not support the weight of the Wall
Stanchion, but merely keep it tight to the
structural wall. It is critical that all of the Wall
Stanchion’s weight is supported by the
glides, not the Support Brackets.

Installing Marker Tray (marker board only)
1. Attach Marker Tray plate to bottom of
marker tray with (8) #6 x 3/8” wood
screws. Plate should overhang marker
tray by 1-1/2” as shown in Figure 3.
2. Attach Marker Tray to top edge of lower
wall with (3) #8 x 1” wood screws as
shown in Figure 4.

Installing Upper and Lower Walls
1. Hang the Upper Wall on the Wall Stanchion
such that the Upper Wall’s support rail rests on
top to the Wall Stanchion’s uprights as shown in
Figure 5.
2. If the Media Product uses earthquake safety
straps (typically only on Presentation Walls),
there are two straps hanging from the Upper
Wall, one in front of each Wall Stanchion upright
as shown in Figure 6. Drive the provided selftapping screws (HW1641) through these straps
into the Wall Stanchion uprights.

3. Install any electrical components to the Upper
Wall that need to be wired behind the wall. Once
the lower wall is in place, the wires cannot be
adjusted.
4. Once all of the wiring behind the Media Wall is
finished, set the Lower Wall up to the Wall
Stanchion such that the lower wall snaps are
aligned with the latch bracket on the Wall
Stanchion. Push firmly on the Lower Wall so that
the snaps click, holding the Lower Wall in place,
as shown in Figure 7.

Installing Display Console
1. Slide the Display Console flush against
the Lower Wall.
2. Adjust the glides on Display Console
such that the top surface is level.
