Statistics (R Statistical package) Data visualisation (ggplot2, d3.js, Illustrator, Powerpoint) Programming (Perl, Shell, Sun Grid Engine, Git) Database (MySQL, XML) Web design (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) OS (Mac OSX, Windows 7, Linux) Gates Cambridge Scholar, University of Cambridge Since Oct. 2011 PhD in systems biology I work at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, where I search for molecular determinants of celltocell variability in gene expression. In the course of my PhD, I have become an expert in R and in statistical analysis of network data, machine learning, clustering, structural equation modelling and regression analyses. As a Gates Cambridge scholar, I also enjoy a fantastic interdisciplinary intellectual environment. École Normale Supérieure (Cachan, France). 20072011 MS in Systems & Synthetic Biology (high honours) BA in Molecular and Cell Biology (honours) 15 "normaliens" are admitted every year in biology at the ENS Cachan (out of ~1,000 candidates already selected in the CPGE cycle), which ranks in the top 3 of French grandes écoles in science. Upon admission, students are entitled a 4year meritbased maintenance. Sainte Geneviève (Versailles, France) 20052007 Preparation to french "grande écoles" (CPGE) SainteGeneviève is renowned for being extremely selective and having the highest success rates at the entrance exams for the most selective french engineering and science schools. The top 4% of french high school students enroll in the nationwide CPGE system, but only ~300 of them get admitted at SainteGenevieve every year. Research Visited laboratories MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK (20092010; 20102011; 2011present), Marie Curie Research Institute, Oxted, UK (20092010), Institut Curie, Paris, France (20082009; 20092010). Most significant awards Gates Cambridge Scholarship (20112014; awarded to 90 out of >7,000 applicants admitted to Cambridge), Knox Trinity Studentship (2011 2014; Awarded to 2 French candidates admitted at Trinity college), Eleve Normalien (20072011; Selected students are awarded by the French ministry of Education the status of civil servant during the 4 years of their schooling at ENS).
