Location
Williamsons Mall is located between Francis Street and
Rampart Lane in Dundalk Town Centre. The property is
well positioned between the Marshes Shopping Centre
and Clanbrassil Street, which are the two prime shopping
areas within the town. Williamsons Mall is the shortest route
between these two areas and as a result it benefits from
increased footfall. The Mall fronts onto Francis Street which
is typically a retail street with commercial and residential
users on the upper floors. The car park entrance is opposite
the main entrance to the Marshes Shopping Centre on
Rampart Lane.
Description
The property sits on a secured site measuring 0.66 Ha (1.63
Acres) and includes a large surface car park for 130 cars.
Access to the car park is controlled by a barrier system and
a car park attendant at peak times.
There are six larger retail units located around the south,
east and western boundary of the site. Each unit has its
own door access onto the car park. The buildings typically
date back to the 1980’s and are constructed using concrete
block construction with a steel frame and corrugated iron
roof, single glazed display windows and some of the units
have roller shutter doors.

with own door access onto Francis Street. These suites are

Planning
Full planning permission was granted under planning
reference 0926 (Dundalk TC) and subsequently an extension
was granted for a further five years from the 3rd December
2012 in accordance with planning reference 12113 (Dundalk
TC) for two mixed use buildings, to include 18 retail units
on the ground floor, 1,753 sqm of offices on the first floor
and 46 apartments on the upper floors with a multi storey
car park to accommodate 250 cars. Further details are
