LIGHTEN UP WITH LEDs
INSTANT INCENTIVES FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS IN OREGON
Energy Trust of Oregon can help you save energy
and money—and it’s as easy as changing a light bulb.
New LED replacement lamps can be an excellent
way to enhance lighting quality and cut operating
costs. And when you buy qualifying LED lamps from
a Lighten Up with LEDs participating distributor, you
can take advantage of instant incentives that reduce
your purchase price.
Incentives are available for business customers with
an eligible commercial, industrial or multifamily
(2+ units and for common area lamps only) site
in Oregon that receives electrical service from
Portland General Electric or Pacific Power. Additional
limitations and requirements apply. Details and
incentives are subject to change.
LEDs Offer More
Lighting can account for more than 20 percent
of a typical business’s energy use. Replacing your
incandescent lamps can:
• Lower utility bills. LEDs may help save up
to 75 percent on lighting energy.
• Reduce maintenance. LEDs can last up to 50
times longer than incandescent bulbs and five
times longer than CFLs.
• Increase savings. LEDs produce very little heat,
potentially cutting air conditioning costs.
• Provide high-quality light and color. LEDs
achieve full brightness instantly and are
available in cool, neutral and warm color
temperatures.
• Increase durability. ENERGY STAR®
certified LEDs typically come with a
minimum three-year warranty.
