Enjoy 3 fun filled weeks visiting China with the Lamar High School group. You don’t have to take Chinese
to come with us.
You can optionally earn a semester of elective Social Studies credit by going with us and doing a project!
What a great opportunity to see China and receive a credit at Lamar.
Dates of trip: June 9th –July 1st
Enjoy a homestay with a student host at our sister school in Dalian, China. Visit Shanghai, Suzhou, the
home of silk, Hangzhou where tea is grown, Xi’an where the Terracotta Warriors are built for the tomb
of the first emperor of China and finally end in Beijing where you will walk The Great Wall and see the
sights, shopping in the markets so famous for bargaining for designer duds and true Chinese articles.
Cost: $3,700
Fees will be made to the Lamar Business Office. Cash, check or payment of credit card online is
accepted.
