Capitol Hill Fuel Charge Validation Process
1. Divide the average MPG (provided above) for the selected car class into the cost per gallon of fuel. The
average gallon of gas is taken from http://gasbuddy.com/ for the Atlanta area (30334) during the week.
Your answer will be the cost per mile.
2. Multiply the cost per mile times the number of miles driven during the rental.
3. Result is the approximate fuel charge for your rental.
