Error Message Resolution This document outlines three common NLAD error messages an ETC may receive where resolution requires a documentation review. Error Message Error Message Resolution The subscriber is less than 18 years old and therefore is not eligible for participation in the Lifeline Program. The ETC must review documentation from the subscriber confirming the subscriber is an emancipated minor. SUBSCRIBER_UNDER_18 The ETC may review documents such as, but not limited to, court documents which demonstrate the subscriber’s status as an emancipated minor. To dispute a failure related to this message, review the documents identified above and then submit a dispute resolution ticket in NLAD. Using the comment box, describe the documents that were reviewed and submit the dispute for processing. The subscriber’s address was not recognized by the U.S. Postal Service’s Address Matching System. The ETC must review documentation from the subscriber demonstrating that the subscriber lives at the address indicated. NVALID_MAILING_ADDRESS INVALID_PRIMARY_ADDRESS The ETC may review documents such as, but not limited to, the subscriber’s utility bill, pay stub, or government issued ID that confirm that the subscriber lives at the address indicated. To dispute a failure related to this message, review the documents identified above and then submit a dispute resolution ticket in NLAD. Using the comment box, describe the documents that were reviewed and submit the dispute for processing. The subscriber has failed the Third Party Identification Verification. TPIV_FAIL The ETC must review documentation from the subscriber such as, but not limited to, the subscriber’s utility bill, pay stub, government issued ID, or court document to verify the subscriber. To dispute a TPIV failure, review the documents identified above and then submit a dispute resolution ticket in NLAD.
