The Strategic Planning Task Force strongly recommends mechanisms to gather data on measureable outcomes, with findings organized into an annual written report. For example, this could be completed in spring following the year being evaluated (i.e. spring 2012 for findings from 2011). This written report can be compiled by the Recording Secretary to be filed in the minutes and shared in a “PTAG Strategic Plan Accomplishments” in the newsletter. PTAG needs to measure whether the strategic initiatives are being met annually. The Strategic Issue: Legislative and reimbursement issues Strategic Direction: PTAG will ensure that clients and patients have ease of access to physical therapy services Strategic Initiative: Protect the interest of our consumers in the provision of physical therapy services and proactively identify legislative issues, both PT and non-­‐PT related.
