conditions, e.g safety glasses, gloves, masks,
safety shoes etc.
• Never wear loose clothing

ever wear hand jewelry in electrical hazard
situations
• Always use the correct tool for the task
• A lways use the correct size tool for the
application
• A lways disconnect electrical supply when
performing maintenance tasks on powered
equipment
• F or electrical or live line working use only approved tools to
International & National standards
• W
hen maintaining electrical equipment In extreme cold climate conditions use only approved insulated
maintenance hand tools to IEC 60900:2004 Category “C”
• Regularly inspect insulated tools for the integrity of the insulation before each task
• Discard badly damaged tools
• Regularly maintain the tools
• Ensure cutting edge tools are always sharp, blunt tools are prone to slip
• Dispose of sharp blades in approved containers for disposal
• Always try to cut away from the body
• Wrenches should always be pulled not pushed
• Never use a screwdriver as a chisel or pry bar
• Store tools safely, and organise the storage area/cabinet by task or tool type

Return Requests must be approved by C.H. Hanson with an RGA number and sent prepaid. These returns will be
subject to an inspection (for original condition) and a 15% restocking fee. All shortages must be reported within 30
days. No returns will be accepted after 45 days. Custom made items cannot be returned.
