NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
You are invited to attend a meeting being held by AVT Consulting, LLC at the Bellingham Public Library,
Lecture Room (210 Central Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225) on Wednesday, August 24th at 6:00 pm, to
introduce the following proposed project:
The proposed project is located at 1100 High Street in Bellingham. The proposal is the addition of a small
two story structure located in the rear of the lot, behind the existing house which will remain. This
structure will house a single detached residential unit above a small parking garage. Useable open
space for the new unit will be provided with a deck off the structure, and in the side yard. The overall
structure will be two stories in height, with pitched roof, building modulation and building materials
reflective of the surrounding development and consistent with the existing residence on site. In order
to meet parking regulations, the parking garage at the ground level in the new structure will need to
be shared between the new unit and the existing residence. The proposed new unit will be a threebedroom unit, requiring two parking stalls. The existing single family residence also requires two
parking stalls. Four parking stalls will be provided in this garage organized in a tandem fashion; two
for the apartment and two for the house. We are holding this meeting to tell you about the proposal
and invite your comments and questions. As required by the City of Bellingham, it is being conducted
