SPECIFICATION:
1. GENERAL:
1.1 Inquiry shall be made at the nearest Company office to ascertain the form of service than can
be obtained at any particular location.
1.2 In the following, an underground source is defined as one in which services are taken from
pad-mounted transformers. An overhead source is defined as one in which service are taken
from transformers mounted on poles.
2. OVERHEAD SERVICE, 10/:
2.1 120 volts, 2 wire
2.2 240 volts, 2 wire
2.3 120/240 volts, 3 wire
2.4 240/480 volts, 3 wire
3. OVERHEAD SERVICE, 30/:
3.1 120/208 volts, 4 wire
3.2 240 volts, 3 wire
3.3 277/480 volts, 4 wire
3.4 480 volts, 3 wire - Available but not recommended due to possibility of high induced voltage
accompanying an arcing fault current.
