SUBMITTING YOUR FILE
You have 2 options here.
1. Clicking on the SAVE button does not submit the file.
Nor can your instructor access the file while it is in
SAVE status. (The instructor sees a blue LOCK ICON in
his/her gradebook which indicates the file is SAVED. )
SAVE means you can access the file and make changes.
3. Clicking on the SUBMIT button will send your file to the
instructor. Use this option when you are ready to
submit your completed assignment. An exclamation
point (!) appears in the gradebook to indicate that a file
has been submitted.
4. Once you click the SUBMIT button CourseWeb
acknowledges the submission with a short message.

NOTE: there is a bug in CourseWeb that relates to how
the assignment file is labelled. An incorrectly labelled
file will turn up as a blank page when opened by the
instructor.
