APS is recruiting for a Web Content Editor The Web Content Editor is a member of the APS Strategic Stakeholder Relations team, reporting to the Digital Media Team Lead. This person is responsible for planning, creating, editing and publishing information on the APS and Plan Board websites, intranet, email newsletters and other online communications media. The Web Content Editor will be required to monitor and make daily updates to multiple websites. Qualifications: • • • • • 2 years minimum experience in communications, editing, and website management. Excellent standard for spelling, grammar, and the English language Expertise with web analytics programs and reporting on web traffic statistics Proficient with various Content Management Systems as an Administer. Familiarity with web trends and keen interest in following shifts in the digital space Skills and Abilities: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Expertise in web writing and content creation Proficient with SEO optimization Proficient with HTML5 and CSS as well as HTML legacy Superior research, writing and editing skills. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and basic graphic design ability Advance knowledge of Social Media platform set up and upkeep as well as strategic planning for web promotion Knowledge of web technologies and good practice including accessibility standards Strong organizational and time management skills. High degree of diplomacy and professionalism with internal teams, external clients and suppliers. Ability to decide what digital communications channels to use for communication to ensure stakeholders have the information they need when they need it. Energetic, driven and goal-oriented. Ability to effectively prioritize work and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment within tight timelines. Superior interpersonal skills used to build positive relationships. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines.
