Hello!
This document explains how to Create a Pearson VUE Account and purchase the exam you will take
using the Pearson VUE Anywhere Proctored system. You should only follow the process outlined in
this document if you have received an invitation to do so by your Adobe instructor. All other
candidates should continue to use www.pearsonvue.com/adobe for their testing needs.
Create a Pearson VUE Account / Testing Profile
1. Start by going to www.pearsonvue.com/adobe
Select the ‘Sign in’ button on the right side of the page as shown below

2. If you have tested with Adobe previously and have a Pearson VUE web account, please
proceed to the “Purchase an Adobe Exam – Anywhere Proctored System” section below.
3. If you have not tested with Adobe previously, please create a web account by clicking
the link shown in the screenshot below and follow steps 3-7.
4. As part of the account creation process, you will need to agree to the Privacy Policy
Acceptance with Adobe.

5. Please start by entering the information as shown below. Choose “Next”

6. You will also be asked to enter your address, and telephone number, as part of this
process.

Purchase an Adobe Exam – Anywhere Proctored System
1. After you have created your Pearson VUE web account go to
www.pearsonvue.com/adobe/ap.
2. Select the ‘Sign in now’ button to launch the secure browser.

3. To launch your AP exam, you must use a Secure Browser. The Secure Browser (SB
Browser.exe) will start once you press the sign-in button above.
4. You will then be asked to enter your username and password

5. Once you have signed-in, please select the link to enter your Private Access code
provided to you by your Adobe instructor

6. After you enter the Private Access Code, you will now be prompted to select the exam
you would like to purchase and to confirm your choice by choosing “Register for this
Exam”

7. You are now ready to confirm your order and proceed to checkout.
8. Please confirm your Personal Information and then Agree to Policies.

9. Enter your payment information: Credit Card, voucher number or Promotion Code.

11. This screen is your receipt; please print for your records. You will also be emailed a
confirmation letter and receipt of your exam purchase.
12. Please see the red warning note above. To launch your exam on the Anywhere Proctored
system, you must use a Secure Browser. Select “Get it Now” and run the Secure Browser
(SB Browser.exe).

13. After the Secure Browser is available, you will be prompted to sign-in again using your
Pearson VUE username and password.

14. After you have signed-in, you can choose to begin your exam by selecting ‘Begin
Exam’button. Notify your administrator that you have completed purchasing your exam
and are ready to start the exam session.
15. Your administrator will check your identification and unlock the exam for you to begin
testing.
After you have completed your test on the Anywhere Proctored system, you may sign-in to
your Pearson VUE web account at: www.pearsonvue.com/adobe to view your score report.
