Position Title:
Auto Customer Service Representative 1
Position Purpose:

Provide excellent product knowledge to our customers. Based on the concept of the
customers needs first, provide advice on how to protect themselves and their property.
Find ways to create innovative solutions for our customers
Key Responsibilities/Activities:
1) Autoplan/Family Sales, including but not limited to;
• Greet customers as they come into the office.
• Provide clients with all coverage options available including but not limited to; increased
liability limits, collision, comprehensive, Excess UMP, loss of Use and Road Star
Packages.
• Understand which clients fit best with the Family Insurance offering and provide them
the options.
• Process Family and Travel Medical renewal letters and follow up with clients as required.
• Process renewals transactions, new and change requests from clients.
• General Auto duties as assigned by the team leader, including but not limited to:
batching, ICBC inventory, transaction quality control and citing VIN numbers.
• Provide Motor Licensing services if required.
• Where applicable, provide Mobile Road Service to Auto dealers in the area.
• Accountable for company goals as stated by management.
• Miscellaneous duties as required by management from time to time.
2) Miscellaneous Product Sales, including but not limited to;
• Understand products available and sell Travel Medical Insurance.
• Sales of ATV, Snow Mobile and Private Motorcycle policies.
• Other products and service as they become available.
3) Office Duties, including but not limited to;
• Answering the phone and taking messages from clients
• Organizing work station
• Processing mail.
4) Cross Selling Other Products
• Understand all the products and services RHC Insurance Provides.
• Understand when to ask clients about other service.
• To understand what information is needed, so we can contact the client about their needs.

Key Competencies Required:
• Understanding and belief in the Core Values of the company.
• Working knowledge of the ICBC Extranet, Travel Medical Websites and applications for
ATVs, Sleds, Motorcycles and Motor Bikes.
• Ability to work independently and carry out procedures as outlined in the Employee
Handbook.
• Good oral and written skills.
• Understanding the important adherence to the companies policy on confidentiality,
personal issues, drug and alcohol, social event and alcohol consumption, sexual
harassment and Bullying policies, as per the Employee Manual.
Experience Required:
• Other related office experience an asset.
Education/Designation Required:
• Level 1 Auto Licence
• Grade 12 or equivalent required.
• Continuing education as required by the Insurance Council of BC.
