Jennifer Singer, who graduated from
Chapel Hill High School and Indiana
University, met Lev Kaye on
Match.com. Jennifer was Lev’s very
first date after he joined the online
dating site. “When you know, you
know!” she jokes.
Lev went to high school in Illinois
before attending Grinnell College in
Iowa and Harvard Business School.
After dating Jennifer for almost two
years, he was positive that she was the
one for him. On June 29, 2011, he
bought a ring, and later that night, as
the two sat in a wine bar in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, he knew
that he couldn’t wait for an elaborate
setup to propose. He asked Jennifer
to marry him right then and there.
The couple tied the knot at the
Nasher Museum of Art at Duke
University. Jennifer’s parents, Phil
and Ellen Singer of Chapel Hill,
were in attendance. “We could not
have been happier with our wedding,”
says Jennifer.
Jennifer and Lev reside in Brooklyn,
where Lev is the chief product
officer for The Princeton Review
and Jennifer works as a freelance web
