Secondary Process Containment and Protective Covers
Secondary process containment and protective covers thread
onto the external thread of the access fitting body. For maximum
protection and safety, a wide range of covers are offered, from
lightweight polycarbonate to high pressure retaining, carbon
steel with pressure gauge and bleed plug.

High Pressure Retaining Covers
Cosasco high pressure retaining covers with pressure gauge and
bleed plug offer both protection and an extra layer of safety with
a pressure rating of up to 10,000 PSI. A viton o‐ring creates a
tight seal retaining any pressure that may build up. The bleed
plug allows any pressure accumulation to be released prior to
the cover being backed off. The pressure gauge is used to
indicate if there is any pressure build up.

Heavy Duty Covers
Cosasco heavy duty covers are non‐pressure retaining, carbon
steel covers for use in areas where damage and impact is high
and extra protection of the access fitting is required.
Heavy Duty Cover

Light Duty Covers
Cosasco light duty covers are non‐pressure retaining,
polycarbonate covers for use in areas where damage is not likely
to occur. These are a lighter duty alternative to the standard
steel cover.
