The process for gaining a traineeship or an apprenticeship is quite different to entry into a full time or part time course studied on campus. The first, and most important, requirement is for you when seeking an apprenticeship is to find an employer who will take you on. With this employer you will then set up a training contract which specifies your work, your training and the length of time you will be contracted for. Training will be a combination of “on the job” training and in class study. One of the best places to start looking for an apprenticeship or traineeship is the ApprentiCentre.
