SCHEMATIC REPRESENTATION Workload Dispute Resolution Procedures STEPS DELEGATIONS Supervisor and Staff Member 1 PROCESS Through discussion the Supervisor and academic staff member genuinely and constructively attempt to resolve any dispute. If unresolved, refer matter 2 (Optional Step) Academic Colleague Mediator If both parties agree, they may refer the disputed matter to an academic colleague for resolution. If unresolved, refer matter 3 Dispute Resolution Panel The dispute will be referred to a Disputes Resolution Panel convened by the Dean or nominee. A dispute resolution panel will be convened within five working days of the referral. Both parties to the dispute will be invited to make a submission to the panel before the final decision is made.
