Through discussion the Supervisor and
academic staff member genuinely and
constructively attempt to resolve any
dispute.
If unresolved, refer matter

Mediator
If both parties agree, they may refer
the disputed matter to an academic
colleague for resolution.
If unresolved, refer matter

Dispute Resolution
Panel
The dispute will be referred to a
Disputes Resolution Panel convened
by the Dean or nominee.
A dispute resolution panel will be convened within five working days of the referral. Both parties
to the dispute will be invited to make a submission to the panel before the final decision is made.
