EAP participants will apply as Study Abroad Exchange students. You can search using those keywords or use the dropdown boxes as above. This should take you to the below options.

CHOOSE A PROGRAM

EAP participants applying for the Fall or Spring term at King’s College will apply using the Study Abroad

Exchange (Undergraduate) application. Students applying for the year will use the Study Abroad Exchange

(Undergraduate) – 1 year application.

Enter relevant information in regards to your studies at UC, including a scan of your official UC transcript. If you are a transfer student, also enter information on your studies at your previous college or university, including transcript.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Non-US citizens may be required by King’s College London to submit standardized test results (IELTS,

TOEFL, etc.) as proof of English proficiency. If you do not have recent test results to submit, write and upload a brief statement outlining your history of English language study/use and use in academic settings.

You will be notified if KCL requires further proof of your English proficiency.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

Write in or upload your personal statement. You must answer the four questions outlined on page 8 of King’s

College’s Application Guidance Notes .

RESEARCH PROPOSAL

This section is not relevant to EAP participants.

REFERENCES

Upload your recommendation and write in your “referee’s” basic contact information. Do not select the “King’s

Referee Portal” option, as this will trigger an email to your referee to write another recommendation.

FEE STATUS

Answer as applicable information about your residency, nationality, and time spent living in other countries.

FUNDING

As an EAP participant and an exchange student, you will have no tuition fees at King’s College. However, for the purposes of question 1 only, King’s College has requested that you answer “Self.”

You will be responsible for your housing costs.

Complete the remainder of the application as appropriate. When you have completed and verified your application, check the agreement and submit the application. If you cannot complete the application in one sitting, you can save your progress and return to it later.
