Job description
You will become the specialist in working with the different Phenom desktop scanning electron
microscopes. As an Application Engineer you will have various responsibilities towards the Sales,
Product and R&D departments, such as gathering, converting and testing user requirements into new
product updates or developments. You will also be supporting our distributors in positioning and
selling our products. Finally, you will interact with end customers on a regular basis to optimize our
technology for their applications.
Tasks






and responsibilities:
Give technical & commercial product support (mail, online, on site) towards our distributors
Provide product related technical info for marketing and training purposes
Conduct parts of the sales/application training
Test new product software and hardware developments
Recognize potential new applications or market needs
Provide user specifications for product improvements or new products towards product
management

Who are we looking for?
A highly-motivated team-player with strong communication skills.
Your profile:
 Successfully completed a technical study (e.g. physics, chemistry, applied science,
mechatronics, etc.) at Master level (university or ‘HBO’)
 Willingness to dive into a wide variation of other application oriented disciplines, such as
biology, surface science, mineralogy, etc.
 Preferably a few years of working experience
 Team player with cultural awareness
 Fluent in English and preferably Dutch
 Willingness and ability to travel (~25%)
You will be located at the head-quarters of Phenom-World in Eindhoven.
