Opening Prayer Lord, teach me to look for you and when I look show yourself to me. Without your help I will falter through life, blind to the many things you do for me, missing out on the opportunities you lay before me. Like St. John Ogilvie who did not falter as he went to his death, Grant me the confidence and courage To stand up for what I believe in And the compassion to forgive those who hurt me. Amen. Saint John Ogilvie, pray for us. Martyr Saint Priest Who was Saint John Ogilvie? Scot Prisoner Convert Jesuit Scot † John Ogilvie was born in 1597 in Keith, in North East Scotland.
