Why characterizing soft magnetic materials ?

Computer electromagnetic design, either FEM or lumped circuit
needs first magnetization curve.

In literature and web
the magnetic properties of some materials do not
appear: why ?
1.
Soft magnetic materials are measured at low or very low fields
(from few A/m) and often they are needed in frequency.
2.
Several grades used for magnetic purposes are not mainly used for
magnetic purposes: i.e. DC01 e DC04, C10C100, 10SPb20,
Fe370, Fe400 …
3.
High costs and specialization of measuring equipment.
