Presentations can be as short as 5 minutes or as long as an hour, based on your group’s needs. Presentation topics include but are not limited to: Shelter History, Shelter Services Domestic Violence in the Workplace The health costs and effects of Domestic Violence How Domestic Violence Affects Children Opportunities for Involvement at The Shelter Recognizing the warning signs of Domestic Violence How to reach out to a friend in need Teen Dating Violence Promoting healthy relationships for teens and children Presentations can be given to groups of any size, and can be presented to businesses, churches, health organizations, schools, or civic groups.
