Nurturing the Brain by Buffering Stress
One of the most important tasks of parenthood is helping
children learn to deal with their emotions. All children
experience periods of stress in their lives and need the
emotional skills to deal with it. Children's emotional resilience,
or ability to cope with their feelings, is important to their longterm happiness, well-being and success in life. This seminar
will provide you with some ideas on how to help children become emotionally resilient.
Puberty! Do you have A Plan?
In the ordinary course of a day, you teach your child many
things - about nutrition, social interaction, communication and
more. You may find that puberty, however, is a topic that
usually takes a special effort to discuss and not all parents feel
comfortable doing so.
Faced with the need to educate your children, you must then
educate yourself. Come join us for an informative workshop
that will begin to help you in developing a plan towards teaching and supporting your child as they go through puberty.
Triple P-Positive Parenting Program
The three Ps in “Triple P” stands for “positive Parenting Program”. Triple P helps you understand the way your family
works, and uses the things you already think, feel, say and do
in new ways that nurture relationships, parenting skills and
confidence, as well as supporting your wellbeing.
