Display Page Title in Pages Library List View
When you go to “Site Actions” menu and select the “View All Site Content” item, and then click the
“Pages” library link, you may see a list of pages in your site similar to Figure 1.
Figure 1
You may notice that the “Name” column just displays a number and not the title of your page, which
makes it difficult to know the content of the page. The “Name” number is actually the “Content ID” from
the old Ektron CMS system. But where is the title? Well, it’s still there but you may need to scroll the
listing to the right (the horizontal scrollbar is at the bottom) to see the last column which is the missing
“Title”. The following steps show how to move the “Title” column to the left next to the “Name”
column.
1. Click the “Library” sub-tab under the “Library Tools” tab
2. Click the [Modify View] button in the “Manage Views” section of the ribbon bar (Figure 2).

3. In the “Columns” section, change the “Position from Left” value of the “Title” column from “10” to
“3” (Figure 3).

4. Click the [OK] button and the “Title” column will display in a more readable position (Figure 4).
