Instant Proof Dash Camera #9458 Video Player Download NOTE: Before using GPS Function, ensure GPS Module is plugged in and GPS Set is turned on in the camera settings menu Follow these steps to download the IP #9458 GPS Video Player Step 1: Insert a blank MicroSD card into the camera (Class 10, Maximum 32GB) Step 2: Format the MicroSD card in the camera (You can record footage after formatting, or continue with these steps to just install the player) Step 3: Connect camera to your PC using the USB cable Step 4: Drivers will automatically install if this is the first time connecting the camera to your computer Step 5: Open folder to view files, do not import files via image sharing software (Computer > Removable Disk F:) Step 6: Double click on the .exe file located in Removable Disk F: to install the player Step 7: Following the onscreen installation instructions *Note: Adding a desktop shortcut will make finding the video player easier for future use. Step 8: Launch the player. (Right mouse click on the player icon, and run as an administrator) To view files recorded on the camera, go to File > Open and open video files located in Computer > Removable Disk E: Note: The video player software will always be located in Removable Disk F:, while video footage will always be located in Removable Disk E:. Using the GPS Module Step 1: Connect camera to car charger and mount suction cup to windshield Step 2: Connect the GPS Module to the top of the camera (AV port) Step 3: Mount GPS Module using the 3M tape so it does not move around Step 4: A symbol will appear on screen when the GPS is connected Viewing footage Step 1: Connect the #9458 Dash Camera to your PC using the USB cable Step 2: Launch the Video Player Step 3: Go to file > and open files located in Computer > Removable Disk E:. Double click the file you want to view Step 4: The video file should now be opened in the player, use the player controls to stop/start/fast forward/rewind your video footage. A map or your route will appear on the right of the player, while your GPS information will be displayed under the video.
