This change will not affect any TVs that currently have a Cable Box attached, nor will this change affect customers who subscribe to Basic Cable only (NLB channels 2-27).
To begin this conversion we will be moving CNBC to digital channel 28-1 on digital TVs.
(CNBC will also be available on analog channel 61 until Aug. 11th). GAC (Great American
Country), which is now on channel 61, will be removed as an analog channel and will only be available on digital channel 110-10 (or on channel 61 WITH A CABLE BOX).
These changes will occur on Monday, June 16 th , 2014.
Customers with Cable boxes on their TVs will not be affected by these changes!!
You will not need a Cable Box if all of your TVs have digital tuners (All TVs purchased after
May, 2007, and most Flat Screen TVs have digital tuners).
You will need a Cable Box after August 11
TH to continue to receive all channels if you have any older TVs that do not have digital tuners.

More Information on Digital Tuners:
Most flat screen TVs purchased within the last seven years have an ATSC (Advanced
Television Standards Committee) digital tuner. These tuners are capable of receiving three types of TV signal formats:
• analog (NTSC)
• Over-the-air digital broadcast signals (8VSB)
• Cable TV digital signals (clear QAM)
TVs sold as or labeled with “HDTV or DTV” have a digital tuner. TVs that are “HDTV
Ready or Capable” can display an HD signal from a DVD player, etc… but do not have an ATSC digital tuner. Please check your owner’s manual for more detailed information.
To verify that you can receive NLB digital signals on your TV, please follow the procedures below:
• Access the TV set menu from your remote control
• Go to the “Channel” or “Set-Up” mode
• Select the Auto Program or Channel Scan feature
• Choose the “Cable” setting (not antenna or Air)
• If asked, select the “STD” or Standard setting (not HRC)
• Start the scan mode
At this point, your TV will be searching for all available TV signals on our cable system, both digital and analog. If your TV has an ATSC digital tuner, the number of digital channels found will be displayed. On some TVs they will be listed as DTV channels.
Digital channels will always have two channel numbers with a dash or dot in the middle
(ex, Fox 25 will be 25-1 or 25.1). After the scan is complete, verify that you can tune to a digital channel, (7-1 or 25-1).
If yes, you have a digital TV and are ready to receive our Expanded on Demand channels.
If no, then you will need a converter box to receive our Expanded on Demand channels.
