Over the last decade M-Elec has firmly established itself as
one of the most respected and innovative lighting suppliers,
not only in Australia but around the globe.
Innovation has always been at the forefront of this family run
firm as it continues to push the boundaries and challenge the
status quo of traditional lighting products and techniques.
Founded in 2006, like many great companies M-Elec had
humble beginnings. Operating from a small shed at the back
of his family home on the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Tim
Mobbs quickly built a reputation for producing high quality,
reliable LED packages mainly for the automotive industry but
also for the hobby trade.
Providing its ever growing base of loyal customers – both
domestic and commercial - with precisely what they need, this
award winning company has forged its success by a winning
combination of innovative designs, high quality products and
the ability to back this up with unrivalled customer service.
After engaging his father Geoff to design and produce an
aluminium profile with opaque diffuser, they began producing
ground-breaking designs that offered a high lumen output
coupled with low power consumption – the first in Australia.
Not content with one success, M-Elec were quick to see the
potential of the new wave of SMD chips and the higher lumen
outputs that they provided producing the first wide beam LED
Downlight in Australia – the ML-D15.

Designed, manufactured and packaged with both the installer and the end user in mind,
each of M-Elec's innovative LED lights provide the ultimate in usability and flexibility.
The newest addition to the range is the MR Multi. This 10W downlight is effectively 3
lights in 1 - less stock to carry and transport, while not compromising on the choice
for the end user. Simply choose between white, warm white or neutral white on its
unique selector switch prior to installation.
The incredibly popular and versatile 1box90 has a new and improved driver. It is also
joined by the new 1boxD10. Both these fittings allow the user to change the colour
whenever they feel like a change of mood – with a flick of a switch. Dimmable and
using 13W and 10W respectively they come with 2 trims in each box as standard
(brushed aluminium and white) making them a truly “1box” solution for wholesalers,
electricians and end users alike.
The MR1072 10W and MR13 13W from the “Mates Rates” range are further examples
of the LED lighting at its most innovative. Super slimline, installation has never been
easier and like all the “Mates Rates” range, they are fully dimmable and their ecofriendly packaging makes clean up and disposal a breeze.

Designed for when you need a higher light output, our range of High Powered Downlights
gives those all-important extra lumens without compromising on efficiency or size.
Incorporating the 3 key elements – design, function and trust, the M-Elec range gives
larger than ever areas of illumination, without the harmful UV light that can fade and
alter the appearance of clothes, furnishings and merchandise.
The 1boxC2030 replaces both the 1boxC20 and 1boxC30. With its dual power switch
you can now select either 24W or 34W and the 3 colour options make this high powered
downlight 6 lights in 1. Its large trim size also means that retro fitting couldn’t be easier.
The NEW multi-output shoplights are a new addition to M-Elec’s multi output range
of LED lights. These new shoplights supersede the older S40 and S70 models and
offer 3 integrated white output colours. This allows for the opportunity of reducing
stock with the all-in-one ‘multi output’ technology.

Our new Neptune High Bay Range demonstrates all the features and benefits that
have made our ground breaking LED lights a favourite throughout Australia. Each one
of this range achieves outstanding performance and reliability without compromising
on look, size or price.
Despite producing up to 13000lm, they are some of the coolest running units on the
market. This is because they boast a pure aluminium heat sink made with cold forging
technology, resulting in heat dissipating 3 times faster than with traditional die-cast
heat sinks, which in turn means a longer life span for the fitting.
All of the Neptune Range also feature Nichia 757D LED chips, chosen specifically
for their ability to handle high temperatures while providing a high and steady lumen
output and offering an efficacy of up to 130lm/W.
All this is backed up with a power supply to match. The Neptune range features a
Mean Well HBG series driver which boasts a massive voltage range of 90-305V AC
as well as having the ability of perform in temperatures of up to 60°C. Together, this
results in a stable and flawless performance for up to 50,000hrs.

remote has the ability to phase from each colour and stop anywhere in
between (using suitable LED strips). Perfect for operating with M-Elec's
ML-1009FAWI (receiver) and ML-SMDFX-HY & ML-WPSMOX-HY LED
strips this controller also features 4 zone control and 3 memory settings.
The RGBW wireless controller is the ‘all round’ pick of remotes for RGB
and RGBW LED strips. Working with the ML-1009FAWI this remote
can control colours, 4 zones and a white output. With 10 preset colour

This plate mounted 0-10V signal dimmer allows the user to blend the
0-10V controller with traditional dimmers and switch plates seamlessly.
Integrating into Clipsal style switch plates and working with one or
multiple 1-10V controllers (Neptune, NOX20/30 or ML-2002), the MLDIM-S will dim LED strips and modules perfectly.
