teaching groups, in accordance with developing
your ongoing projects. Clear guidance will be

Check through preps for common errors and try
to put your teacher’s suggested improvements
into practice. Look at your recent prose
comprehension work and remind yourself of the
key skills – ie, use of quotation, following the
mark scheme and so on.

Grammar: present tense of regular verbs (e.g.

you compare/contrast an extract from the novel
with an extract from an unseen text. Pay particular
attention to the way Ishiguro develops key
characters and themes.

set works covered in the anthology. Boys should
revise the background of the different topics from
the text book, and structure their notes into

instrumentation, structure. In addition they should
brush up their general theory and vocab from their
text books
