The unit has been designed to enable the installer to easily comply with the requirements of the 16th edition IEE wiring regulations (BS7671).

The Mini Trip is a plug-in MCB which provides a simple, cost-effective method of upgrading existing installations.
Designed as a simple installation retro-fit device, Mini Trip
MCBs fit directly into existing consumer units (of the appropriate type) and replace the old rewireable fuse carriers. This upgrades the installation to modern circuit breaker technology with the following benefits: easily reset (no more fumbling with fusewire in the dark!) improved protection no risk of accidentally replacing fuse wire with the wrong rating (fire hazard)
As an alternative to the time consuming inconvenience and costly replacement of a consumer unit, Mini Trips now give you the choice!
