CHELMSFORD SENIOR CENTER SEPTEMBER 2016 75 Groton Road, N. Chelmsford, MA 01863 Office Phone: 978-251-0533 Fax: 978-251-3794 Email: dsiriani@townofchelmsford.us Office Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm Dear Residents, From the Director’s Desk I am actually NOT writing this from my desk, but from our beautiful new PATIO! Shafts of sunlight are softly pushing through the wooden slats above me, and I watch people as they enter the building for another busy day at the Center, greeting each other and laughing. It feels good to see a dream become reality after so much hard work from so many people. Speaking of hard work, please take the time to meet our new Nutrition Program Manager, Kathy Munro — we hear that her homemade soups are kind of a big deal! She is looking forward to meeting you all, so Kathy and I will be hosting a “Soiree in the Café” on October 6th at 12:30 pm. It will be just a casual gathering with light refreshments, and a chance to talk about our lunch program, come up with fun ideas, and brainstorm how to make new dreams a reality! I am happy to report that the Friends Café is open and running! Join us for a GRAND OPENING reception on September 28 at 10am. We hope to see you there! -Debi WůĞĂƐĞEŽƚĞ͗ dŚĞĞŶƚĞƌǁŝůůďĞĐůŽƐĞĚŽŶ DŽŶĚĂLJ͕^ĞƉƚĞŵďĞƌϱĨŽƌ>ĂďŽƌĂLJ͘ KŶdŚƵƌƐĚĂLJ͕^ĞƉƚĞŵďĞƌϴ͕ƚŚĞƌĞǁŝůůďĞ NO lunch or acvies ĂƚƚŚĞ^ĞŶŝŽƌĞŶƚĞƌ due to State Primary Elecons held at the ^ĞŶŝŽƌĞŶƚĞƌ͘dŚĞƌĞt/>>ďĞDĞĂůƐŽŶ tŚĞĞůƐ͕KīͲ^ŝƚĞDĞĂůƐĂŶĚ^ŽĐŝĂůĂLJ WƌŽŐƌĂŵ͘ The end of the summer has us gearing up for busier days.
