What will happen during the
Graduate Program?
The program starts with an introduction to Schneider
Electric, where graduates will learn about our company,
markets, products, strategies and corporate values.
Building a professional network is important within such a
large organisation. Throughout the program there will be
opportunities to get to know the other graduates and leaders
across the business. This, combined with structured training
and a development plan, will ensure your future career
success at Schneider Electric.
1. Rotation and career planning
The Graduate Program is two years in duration, during which
graduates will rotate every eight months to a different area of
our business. Throughout each rotation, graduates will have
a structured development plan, tailored specifically to the
individual rotation.
2. Coaching and mentoring
Graduates will also be assigned mentors (for each rotation)
who will guide your development throughout the program.
This allows you to be well prepared and to make the most of
the program, with respect to your future position.

Marco Polo
International
Program
What is the Marco Polo Program?
The international recruitment Marco Polo Program plays an
important role, by giving the best of our talented graduates
the opportunity to work abroad for a short term assignment,
after completion of the Australian Graduate Program. The
Marco Polo candidate is identified from the pool of graduates
by the home country (Australia), and sent abroad to a host
country overseas for between 6 months and 2 years. During
this time, the graduate is exposed to fantastic development
opportunities and then, when they return, they bring their new
skills back to the home country to share with the local teams.
International exposure, professional development and
amazing life experiences are all developed through Marco
Polo assignments. The Marco Polo Program is seen as
one of the most successful global recruitment and career
development programs, externally and internally. It perfectly
reflects our Schneider Electric Employer Value Proposition
– care, dynamic, international and development. If you are
interested in building an international career, then the Marco
Polo Program is something to strive for at Schneider Electric!
