






Ensure you have completed the McHenry County College Application for
Enrollment.
Complete all portions of the Engineering Pathways to Illinois application.
Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Missing or incomplete
information invalidates your submission.
Please attach your personal statement to your application packet. Please
refer to page 3 of this packet for more information regarding this statement.
Complete only in blue or black ink.
Sign and date your application.
Your completed application and personal statement must be submitted to
McHenry County College, Building E, Office E212. Please mark to the
attention of: MCC Engineering Pathways.
All application materials and relevant testing must be completed by the final
application deadline of March 1, 2016.
By submitting this application, you understand:

Acceptance into the program is not guaranteed.
Admission to McHenry County College does not guarantee admission
to the Engineering Pathways program.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit all required documents.
If accepted to the program, the student must attend the mandatory
Engineering Pathways orientation. (Orientation program dates and
information will be sent directly to you.)

Admission Guidelines and Application Procedures
Submission Instructions
All application materials and test scores must be submitted by the final application deadline of
March 1, 2016.
You must first complete the McHenry County College Application for Enrollment, located online at
www.mchenry.edu. Please be aware, there is a one-time, non-refundable, $15 application fee for
new students. On our website, you will also find information regarding available scholarships,
financial aid, and other helpful links pertinent to the application process. Make note of your
McHenry County College student ID number, as it is required for your Engineering Pathways
application. The following steps must be completed for a valid application submission:

Have your official high school transcripts sent directly to McHenry County College, Office of
Admissions.
 Have your ACT scores sent directly to McHenry County College, Office
of Admissions.
 Complete the McHenry County College Engineering Pathways to UIUC application.
This application has been attached for your convenience.
 Compose a personal statement. Further information on this personal statement
is addressed on page 3 of the application packet.
 Take a math placement test if the math ACT score is less than a 22 and/or English ACT score
is less than a 21.
Information regarding tests and procedures can be found online at
http://www.mchenry.edu/testingcenter/testinginfo.asp.
-- All testing takes place at the McHenry County College Testing Center located
in Building A, Room A245. No appointments are necessary, you may walk in to take your
exams; however, you must allow enough time to complete the testing before the Center
closes. You will need a photo ID to take your tests. Please identify yourself as an
Engineering Pathways applicant when you arrive at the center. Testing office hours are
Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.;
Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Hours are subject to change during
intersession or when classes are not in session.
NOTE: All of the above components must be completed and all materials must be received by the
deadline dates indicated in order for your application to be considered.
