APPLICATIONS
To simplify inventory, IllumaTech® Slide and Rotary Controls
are designed for both single pole (one location) and 3-way
(two location) applications. IllumaTech Preset Slide Controls
feature a smooth, captured slide bar for fine adjustment of
lighting levels and an easy to use push button that provides
preset ON/OFF switching. Color change kits simplify inventory by diminishing the need for stocking separate devices
in every color. Additionally, the IPL06 features a future-proof
dimming platform that is compatible with incandescent and
dimmable LED and CFL lamps.
IllumaTech slide controls include LED, CFL, magnetic low
voltage, electronic low voltage and fluorescent lighting
dimmers, as well as full range and quiet fan speed controls.
IllumaTech Rotary Controls combine the ease of a traditional
rotary knob with the contemporary look of Decora®. They
are perfect for specifiers, lighting designers and engineers
who require reliable performance and a modern rotary
look. Rotary controls include push on/push off dimmers
in illuminated and non-illuminated versions, as well as
quiet fan speed controls and a combination dimmer/
fan speed control.

Violet connection of dimmer) is installed at wall box that
will house the IP710 Dimmer.

ODP SWITCH RATINGS:
20 Amps for 120 and 277 VAC Ballast
For applications using Leviton's ODP (Wiring Diagrams 2 & 4
and Tables 3 & 4), ODP switch ratings are as follows (refer to
ODP Instruction Sheet for additional information):
NOTE: For additional switching capacity (up to 50 ballast), use
dimmers in conjuction with a Leviton ODP 120/277V Power Pack.
For direct load application configurations (Wiring Diagrams 1
and 3), refer to Table 1 and Table 2 for ballast information.
0-10VDC ballasts are rated in Volt-Amps (VA). The maximum
number of ballast per dimmer is based on the load VA rating (see
Maximum Load per Dimmer table) or 50 ballast maximum, which
ever is less. The maximum bulb wattage is determined by the
efficiency of the ballast. The tables on the next page show the
maximum number of ballasts that can be connected to a single
dimmer for different 0-10VDC ballasts.

• To be installed and/or used in accordance with appropriate electrical codes and regulations.
• If you are unsure about any part of these instructions, consult a qualified electrician.
• To avoid overheating and possible damage to this device and other equipment, use only with the appropriate Advance Transformer 120/277V

Changing the color of your Dimmer:
Your Dimmer includes two color options. The Dimmer ships with
the White frame attached. To change color of frame, proceed as

The lights can be controlled from either the dimmer or
the switch location.
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Lights Flickering
- Lamp has a bad connection.
- Wires not secured firmly with wire connectors.
• Light does not turn ON and
ON/OFF LED does not turn ON
- Circuit breaker or fuse has tripped.
- Lamp is burned out.
- Lamp Neutral connection is not wired.

Leviton warrants to the original consumer purchaser and not for the benefit of anyone else that this product at the time of its sale by Leviton is free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use for five years from the purchase date. Levitonʼs only obligation is to correct such defects by repair or replacement, at its option, if within such five
year period the product is returned prepaid, with proof of purchase date, and a description of the problem to Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc., Att: Quality Assurance Department, 59-25 Little Neck Parkway, Little Neck, New York 11362-2591. This warranty excludes and there is disclaimed liability for labor for removal of this product or reinstallation. This
