diagnostic testers battery tester Tester of the battery, charging efficiency and voltage drop values, equipped with a printer. The Magneti Marelli Battery Tester is a universal tester for checking both the condition of the battery itself as well as the cooperating elements - alternator and starter; it is also possible to monitor voltage drops under the starter load, and the receivers used while driving (heating windows, lights, etc.). All the operations, as well as the printout itself, can be presented in Polish language. 007950006900 d i a g n o s t i c CAR BATTERY TESTS: - voltage drop on ignition - test of charging without the load (checking the alternator and voltage regulator) - test of charging under the load (also checking the efficiency of onboard electrical devices) - voltage stability test (checking the voltage regulator and the alternator diode) TESTS ON THE VEHICLE: t e s t e r s - voltage drop on ignition - test of charging without the load (checking the alternator and voltage regulator) - test of charging under the load (also checking the efficiency of onboard electrical devices) - voltage stability test (checking the voltage regulator and the alternator diode) PRINTER: All the tests carried out by MM Battery Tester not only can be viewed on a large and clear display equipped with adjustable backlighting, but they can also be immediately printed using the built-in printer. Such a print contains all the tested data, providing the customer with full information, both concerning the battery state and the state of alternator and voltage regulator. MM Battery Tester is an extremely easy to use and user friendly advice. All the available tests are carried out step by step, according with the instructions given by the tester. BATTERY TEST: Once the clamps are connected, the MM Battery Tester starts automatically. A question appears on the screen about the test type (battery or car systems test); once the battery test type has been selected, it is necessary to indicate the type of the diagnosed battery (gel, AGM, VRLA, standard). Next question is about the stated inrush current and the norm it is based on. Once all the information is collected, MM Battery Tester moves on to the test, where the next question is about the printout (it is possible to print the results or to skip this step). SYSTEM TEST: After selecting the system test, MM Battery Tester lists the necessary actions, step by step: - turn off all the loads, start the engine - checking for voltage drops while starting up the vehicle; when started, the tester indicates the voltage value and its conformity with the norm; - press enter for the charging test - MM Battery. The tester checks the system voltage during normal engine work, without the loads; - turn on the devices that put the installation under load - testing efficiency of the alternator and the running devices (in case of abnormalities, the voltage can drop below an acceptable level). In the meantime, the MM Battery Tester checks the voltage stability during the whole test, providing an information on alternator diodes’ effectiveness. The test results can also be printed. 21
