Entrance Examination for LL.M. Degree Course (2 Years)

ELIGIBILITY

The Department of Law, University of Mumbai is conducting All India LL.M.

Entrance Examination for admission into LL.M. (Two Years) Degree Course for the academic year 2016-2017.

Eligibility : Candidates who have passed LL.B. Degree Course or those who are in the Final

Semester of 3 or 5 years LL.B. Degree Course from the University of Mumbai or Other

Universities are eligible to apply for LL.M. Entrance Examination.

An application for LL.M. Entrance Examination for admission to the LL.M Degree Course must be made in the prescribed form to be downloaded from the University Website http://mu.ac.in/portal/department-of-law/ and duly filled in form be submitted to the

Department of Law within the prescribed time and venue mentioned below.

ADMISSION OF THE STUDENTS SHALL BE MADE STRICTLY IN ACCORDANCE

WITH THE MERIT IN THE LL.M. ENTRANCE EXAMINATION SUBJECT TO

RESERVATION POLICY OF THE GOVERNMENT AND RULES PRESCRIBED BY THE

UNIVERSITY.

Candidates are required to secure minimum qualifying marks in the Entrance Examination as under:

30% – General Category

20% – Reserved Category

The LL.M. Entrance Examination Test paper will consist of 50 Objective type questions with multiple choice for total 100 marks. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR OBSERVANCE DURING THE EXAMINATION

1. Enter your Seat Number on the Answer Sheet.

2. Do not write your Name or in any way reveal your identity anywhere in the Answer Sheet.

3. Answer Sheet must be handed over to the invigilator when the final bell is rung.

4. Candidate will expelled from the examination hall if :

(i) he / she brings any books, notes or scribbled paper.

(ii) he / she speaks to or communicates with any other candidate.

(iii) he / she takes away answer book.

(iv) he / she disobeys any instruction issued by the conductor or the supervisor.

(v) he / she is found to be in possession of a mobile phone or any other Electronic Device inside the Examination Hall.

5. A warning bell will be rung ten minutes before the examination begins and 10 minutes before the close of the examination.

6. Writing of answers must stop with the final bell. Candidate must not leave his / her seat until

Answer Sheet is collected by the Supervisor.
